Best Stigler Center Journalists in Residence Program 2024-25 Chicago in USA. International students who wish to mold themselves into the next generation of business reporting leaders are welcome to apply for the Journalists in Residence Program. Launched in March 2017, the Stigler Center Journalists in Residence Program provides emerging journalists from all over the world working in press types with a transformative learning environment.Best Stigler Center Journalists in Residence Program 2024-25 Chicago in USA

Throughout the program, which will run for about 12 weeks on our Hyde Park campus, a select group of participants will work with peers, attend events, audit classes, and mingle with the university’s top academics. At the Chicago Booth, attendees will select their own classes. The Firm and the Non-Market Environment with Professor Marianne Bertrand is one example of a course.

Program participants are expected to:

  • Audit three classes.
  • Attend classes, engage in active learning, and finish all assigned readings and homework.
  • Attend Stigler seminars, lunches, and social gatherings in addition to any other activities the center suggests.
  • Attest to the mutual agreement between you and the center regarding the program’s guidelines and expectations by signing a letter of agreement.
