Grayson Murray’s: Parents Reveal his Cause of Death in Emotional Statement 🥺

When rising PGA Tour talent Grayson Murray passed away on Saturday at the age of thirty, the golf industry was dealt a devastating blow.

His parents, Eric and Terry Murray made public their son’s cause of death on Sunday, May 26, via a heartfelt message posted on social media.

The PGA Tour released a statement that said, “Life wasn’t always easy for Grayson, and although he took his own life, we know he rests peacefully now.”

For the last twenty-four hours, the family claimed, they have been “trying to come to terms with the fact that our son is gone.” They described having to accept their loss and tell the world about it as “a nightmare.”

Murray was adored by “all of his extended family, by his friends, by his fellow players and – it seems – by many of you reading this,” the family stated.

Murray, a two-time PGA Tour champion who struggled with depression and alcoholism, participated in the first round of this week’s Charles Schwab Challenge and the initial portion of the second round before withdrawing after 16 holes.
