KPMG is a big name in the professional services industry. Operated in 157 countries, KPMG offers a variety of services for clients in different sectors. KPMG Global Internship Program – This is KPMG’s continuing effort to build generations of global professionals.

The Global Internship Program provides the experience to learn about KPMG’s operations globally. Interns will spend four weeks in one of KPMG’s overseas offices. This will further be paralleled with a spate of other training and development programs.

Program Highlights:

International Homestay: Intern in a new country. Therefore, this allows them to gain some knowledge of how business is done internationally and what makes the countries tick.

Career Training: Interns will be trained in a variety of business functions. These will be technical skills, leadership skills, and team skills.

Networking: Interns will be exposed to professionals globally This helps them to get in on with a global network.

Mentorship: Every intern will be given a supervisor. This mentor is their go-to person throughout the internship, with whom they share their progress and seek guidance in times of doubt.

Eligibility & Application Process

The Global Internship Program is open to university and college students. Candidates must be in their senior year of study As Leaders KPMG seeks high-achieving individuals who have demonstrated leadership potential at a University level.

How to Apply:

The application procedure consists of the following steps –

Online Application: Applicants have to complete the online application form. This is about their resume, academic transcript, and cover letter.

The written test would be an online Assessment Test and shortlisted candidates would write the test. They include numerical, verbal, and situational judgment.

Interviews: Selected candidates will be called for Interviews. This work can be completed face to face or by telephone/skype / other form of video. The interviews also test the candidate’s preparedness to join the KPMG values and culture.

Selection: The final selection is done through the assessment tests, and Interviews based on merit.

Workload: The program is stressful, and interns must deal with a high amount of work. Combining this with time management and organizational tasks is key.

Language Barriers: There might be a problem with language barriers in some countries. Interns are also asked to study some basic local phrases. KPMG also offers free language support.
